A lightweight fishing vest by american outdoor company columbia. Produced in the 1990s as part of their 'performance fishing gear' (PFG) line, the vest is made from a polyester mesh base with red cotton sections. It has a ribbed neck, zip front opening, and the edges are finished with red contrast binding.
And now onto the pockets. The vest has lots of pockets. On the front, there's one small velcro pocket at each breast and two larger zipped pockets each side of the front placket. These larger pockets each incorporate multiple compartments (see pictures), which we might even call additional pockets. As stated above, lots of pockets. And there are three further pockets on the back, with one large zipped pocket across the back body and two medium sized velcro pockets near the hem. When we started writing this we thought it'd be good copy to write pockets so many times, and to write about them in this stilted manner. But now having done it, we're not at all sure it's good and similarly we're not at all sure it's not really really bad.
The vest has a few small marks.
